Measurement & Control Equipment
Oscilloscopes are one of the most frequently used measurement devices in electronic and scientific laboratories. Their capabilities in terms of analogue bandwidth, sampling rate, memory depth or extensive analysis performance, determine test and debug efficiency. Engineers carefully choose the appropriate oscilloscope according to their requirements, to reduce time-to-market etc.
Signal Generators, RF Signal Generators or Arbitrary Waveform Generators are integral part of electronic laboratory equipment, to generate periodic signals, bunches or single electronic pulses in analog or digital domains. They are mostly used in testing, troubleshooting or repairing of electronic devices. They can also emulate signals from variety of detectors in order to test acquisition channels.
Spectrum Analysers are an essential tools for RF engineers, demonstrating a view of signals frequency spectra, providing amplitudes of different frequencies within signal's bandwidth. They are capable of providing a variety of measurements for RF or lower -frequency or -bandwidth signals. Used together with Signal Generators can provide a measurement of gain/loss of any analog system as amplifiers, waveguides, cables etc.
The PXI is the PCI/PCIe eXtensions for Instrumentation which is the modular instrumentation architecture to deliver a PC-based, high-performance measurement and automation systems. PXI/PXIe combine the PCI/PCIe electrical-bus with the modular packaging and add specialised synchronization buses and key software features. PXI is an open industry standard governed by the PXI Systems Alliance (PXISA) and a dominant industry standard for measurement and automation applications.
